That’s fine. There’s nothing wrong with East Coast / Maritime homes. They just look way out of place when they’re 1,200 miles from an ocean.

I’m okay with that. However, I would never buy a duplex. After living for years in an apartment, I vowed I’d never again have somebody else living on the other side of a wall or floor.

Its especially jarring on older buildings, when one owner keeps the original details, and the other ruins their house.
